Writing Conferences

Writing Conferences – These are conferences we have personally attended.

NINC – https://ninc.com/conferences/ninc_world_2015/ –  a mid sized conference purely dedicated to the business side of writing. Print info, globalization, the German market, translations and site optimization were some of the topics in 2015. This conference applies to all genres, but attendees must be members of Novelist, Inc. which has some very specific requirements based on sales. Held in Florida, in October.

This is a great place to meet fans during one of the book signings, learn about craft, pitch to agents and editors or play the part of a fan yourself.  Lots of parties too, with provides a bit of social contact that writers can often miss. Held in various locations toward the end of May or early June.

Put Your Heart In a Book Conventionhttp://www.njromancewriters.org/conference – a fantastic conference on a smaller scale, this event focused on romance writing offers more intimate workshops, signings, agent and editor meetings and a fun place to get to know other writers!
